god im so confused. the setup is making my gear fetish go bananas, even though im pretty sure none of it including the marshall cabs is plugged in!

great theatre though.

I've been debating whether it's "theater" or real gear but, honestly, why would anyone go to the trouble of putting that shit out there if it wasn't necessary. 99% of the crowd could care less what they're using and the logistics of transporting that "theater" seems stupid to me.

i cant possibly see how marshall cabs could be part of the PA, its not really a great device for full range sound! unless they just use the cabs with different speakers.

maybe its all overcompensation because they feel guilty about how little live performance they actually do?

not that I care at all, theatre is totally part of the performance and is part of the magic to the layperson. id feel like a million bucks behind that rig, even if half of it is from an old telephone exchange!

It does seem inordinately heavy on the patch bays. Did they spend a lot of time live messing with their patching?

saw simian mobile disco a bit ago.. was impressed with there live tweakin... not that it mattered much after i pissed and danced.

saw Justice at Brixton academy a month or so ago. sound was definately NOT coming out of those marshall cabs! lol. One of the most elaborate tables I have ever seen!!. Oh and met Busy P in the audience same night... real nice guy.
