hello
i've got my firebox yesterday. sounds great looks cool but i have some questions:
1. my global latency is about 10.7 ms. on sonicstate.com i've read that he had 4ms on his ibook. what do i have to do? i've done everything from the presonus support page.
2. if i turn down the headphone-knob the music goes more to the left. is that right?
some expirience or advices would be great.
I have a macbook c2d 2gb mac os x 10.4.10 ableton live 6.0.10 and on my firebox is the newest firmware.
kind regards
andi

Haha Yeah I have the exact same problem as-well when my firebox is on the first two notches the sound is more pronounced on the left, Its fine though nothing to worry abo0ut and quite normal with this unit you just have to crank it up a little.
I must admit the headphone output is seriously HOT a little to hot for my liking but nothing to complain about really.
I would really like to know how people get 4ms latency I have read about it online in reviews but i cant seem to get it. I have a Dual core Mac with 2 gig of ram and even with a clean setup i cant get it... Maybe its live?
Any firebox users care to comment on the latency they get and whether they have any tips that they can inform us all of?
Cheers.
