stability .10

Post by Heiko » Sat Oct 13, 2007 10:34 am

anybody has experience with the 6.0.10 on osx? Is it stable? I'm on .05 still, didn't want to update after reading bug reports. .05 has been stable so far, running pretty good, though it gets too slow now sometimes after dragging in quite a few clips(not that many though). macbook 2 core duo here, 2 gig ram.
Thanx for any info.
Kind regards,
Heiko

numerically correct way of speaking.

If they wanted to use 2 digits they should have started with 6.0.01
I think the presence of two decimal points should already indicate that this is not a real number.
Hahaha, well said.

upgrading to .10 halved the cpu load (1.66 dual core vaio) compared to .05! sweet.

Thanx DGA,

halving cpu would be Heavenly Bliss.......
Am on a MacBook here, 2 Ghz, core 2 duo, 2 gig ram, OSX 10.4.10, running Ableton Live 6.0.5, smoothly, just the CPU load can't handle more then 40%......scares me a bit for my Live Live shows(though had a great TV shooting just now, all smooth!)
Anyone with same configuration could share some experience? I'd really appreciate!
Thanx,
Heiko

you really should take the free upgrade... there's amazing little under the hood tweaks and 6.0.10 is the most stable live release since 4.1.4
