Live has snappy workflow.
It feels like Hardware Sequencer in many ways.
....If there is no unhandy key command, such as "cmd+opt+...'thing.
Too many keycommand needs two-hand.
And key command still can't assigned to some high priority function. (such as clip/track detail)
What is needed in "Live Perfomance Tool"?
Simply, Speedy, Seamlessly WORKFLFOW. Isn't it?
I want dedicated ONE button for clip overview, track detail, browser... etc.
(actually I want single stroke for all commands)
I want my right hand stay on mouse or master keyboard.
I think 'free assign key command' is more important than
100GB of free host-dependent instrument.
PS.
and,
clip/track/browser related keycommand is should be 'toggle' behavior.
that will make feel more snappy alot.
Free assign Key Command (for single-stroke key command)

Thanks for reply.
What I mean toggle is on/off toggle. not switching.
If they do that, we can directly access to wanted editor, and no need 'show/hide' button. (cmd+opt+L ... I hate it.)
I think this(toggle specific editor) is more common behavior for sequencer.
anyway 'toggle' is not my point.
I just wish free assign key command for enhance workflow.
Want be right hand more free, and less mouse travel.

I know many other people request powerful key command feature.
but I want to tell them ableton.... "me TOO!"
This announcement was shock to me.

What an wonder!
+1, freely assignable key commands are #1 on my wishlist. I use things like reverse and Crop a lot, and these don't even have factory set key commands.

get one of these and you use the mouse drivers to program certain key commands (which ever ones you want). like i have the small button on top programmed as "space bar" and the back thumb button as "comand B" for midi draw. you can program whatever keystroke you want to any button. it's hte greatest mouse ever.
