ok this has got to be an easy solution but i havent been able to figure this out..
i am using mac
i did a 60 minute mix. the first track has a little vocal thing before the first beat, so i couldnt line it up and keep it in time, so i started the yellow marker and punch point at the 1.1.1 where the beat first starts. the mix is done, i need to render to disc, but i need to somehow set it to include the little vocal sample at the beginning which is out of time, without affecting the time and warp points from 1.1.1, i need the mix to start rendering at -5.1.1 but still stay in time at the 1.1.1 trigger point.
can someone please let me know how to get this done, and my apologies for the ignorance, if i cant get it done, my only alternative is to render it as is, and load it in cubase or peak and add the sample in and rebounce it which i dont think i should have to do.....
thanks in advance. dave ak1200

why don't you start another track and play/record he mix all from the begining point you want that sample at,
then insert a sampler/simpler in that new track with that vocal sample you want then play it in real time and then hit stop.
listen to it again until you like where it lands then render the track.
