Midi foot control

Post by bingoparty » Wed Oct 24, 2007 3:03 am

New to both Ableton and MIDI in general, was hoping to get some feedback on recommended foot controllers. I dont need anything fancy, just something for tap tempo and sample cues.

Behringer FCB1010. 10 buttons and two expression (wah-wah style) pedals. And you can set 10 banks worth of these.

Warning: It's a pain in the butt to program the settings to send MIDI notes. You should use a MIDI interface and program it using an editor for PC (or Mac, whatever).

Lots on the boards about pedals - search for more info.

I have an FCB1010. Ditto tyedye's comments - PITA to program by hand, much easier with something like RipWerx (my FCB Editor of choice).
