I haven't found much in the forums on this except for some that are in development stages.
I would like to use a small USB to DMX box, such as the ENTTEC, but I don't see that there is a solution for running lights through live with this on OSX. I don't need anything fancy, I just want light cues on and off and some fades.
Currently I use a 3U DMX lighting controller with midi in, which is a huge waste of space to lug around along with a messy wall wart PSU, I'm trying to streamline. I don't use any controls live anyways, it's all preprogrammed.
I've wasted way too much time doing google searches on this and surprisingly haven't found much at all... I could really use some advice from someone who has a working setup.
