CPU Jumps with many parameter mapped to macros

Hi all!

So, if I understand it, unused devices are supposed to take up no CPU Power.
Yet, if I make a rack with 128 simplers, all mapped out to a different key, and then map cutoff and resonance on each one to a macro, I get huge CPU spikes when changing the macro.
Try it yourself.
This happens with simpler and sampler, but not with Operator.
Does anyone have any ideas or solutions?
I was hoping to have a rack with a bunch of Simplers, each mapped to one key. Then I could use the macros to alter the loop points, but my computer can't handle it.

I'm running Live 6.0.10 on a macbook pro 2.2 with 4GB Ram.
Latency is set to 2048 samlpes
