Epic - whats the longest track you've made in live
I have to admit I find Live easier for writing ditties and shorter music for some reason, perhaps because its more immediate. When I used Logic some of my tracks would go way over 5 minutes, and many went over 8. Overkill, sometimes, I know. Carthartic nonetheless.
So whats the longest track you've made in Live? How long did it end up?
I also have to admit I find it hard to write the electronica I used to. Perhaps as a result of changing to Live, in some ways this has become quite inspirational I acknowledge.

29 minutes of droning ambient noise.

for a defined tune rather than just jamming or DJing, 13 minutes and several tracks in excess of 7 minutes. On an album you ideally only want two or three tracks to go longer than 6 minutes - really, unless you're into prog rock or doing live jamming, it gets a bit self indulgent and mastubatory to be regularly presenting 20 minutes of droning and feedback to the public who are likely to be bored to fucking tears if you keep presenting the 15-25 minute tracks, especially if they are robotic with no tempo changes or different musical elements.
Ever listened to Lou Reeds Metal Machine music all the way through and you'll understand this
