Any suggestions?
Guitar Rig 3: Capturing RK movements during recording???
I don't know if I'm on the same problem here, but I would like to use GR(2) with minimal equipment: A sound interface for the guitar and just one expression pedal (via my midi keyboard (ReMOTE SL)) I can map my exp.ped. to anything within Live - no problems. But how do you map the exp.ped. to GR? I've found the wah control by unfolding the effect-unit in Live's effect-chain, but I can't find the control for pitch-shifting or volume, which look pretty much the same i GR, but aren't.
Any suggestions?

when you record with the rig kontrol, does it record the clean signal and use the plugin to make the amp sound? that way you can change the amp settings after you already recorded the part?

welllllllll
i assume you can set it up to either record wet or record dry and monitor the wet. NI don't give demo users much info available.

The RK1 uses audible sounds as control message by sending these sounds to GR via the 2nd channel form the rig control. (not sure if RK 2 and 3 are the same)
When using GR 2 w RK 1 you can record these controller sounds in Live on a separate audio channel. Then play them back along with the Guitar track and the controller sounds will control the guitar track just like they did when you recorded it.
- Create another audio track, mute the output.(unmute to confirm the controller sounds are coming in)
- on that track, chose the same ext input that the RK controller sound is coming in on. (prob L or R of the same stereo signal that the guitar is coming in on) - you may have to configure your inputs to accept mono inputs.
- arm and record this new track while recording your guitar track
- after recording send the output of the track with the controller messages to the track with GR on it.
Edit: BUT... make sure it goes only to the L or R side of GR channel, depending on which side GR is recieving the RK on.
