PEACE OF MIND (grungy/stoner metal):was recorded on a Neve console, at SAE. Kicks ass.
Let yourself listen in awe to this magnificent piece of work. Allow yourselfs to enjoy and grasp the brilliance of this great song.
Ok thats enough cockyness for now
Seriously, give it a listen. you may like it.

The mix isnt clear enough and I think I can hear mixing distortion. If that was intentional then I apologise. I think the vocals would have benefited more from a harder limiter style compression to smooth out the volume.
Reminds me of that old Black Metal band who were into german tanks. I forget their name.

Though obviously not as fast.

the distortion u speak of.. i think is probably from my "mastering" process (evidently wasnt very good)..
cause in the studio it sounded great..!
Anyway, Im in love with this song more for the song its self. the mixing needed more time n work..!

Yeah getting the mastering/mixing can be hard, especially if you dont know the studio as well as your own (helps if you have a pro on hand as a second pair of ears I would imagine). The structure is there though so I'm sure it'd work out great.
Thought of another possibility as to why it sounded a bit unclear... perhaps there was something that went wrong when the music was encoded for myspace? I know that soundclick will alter the sonics a little when I upload, but I get around that by sending a higher bitrate mp3. Soundclick actually seems to degrade a track, I find, if I send a 128kps file. Odd.
