Any ReBirth users???

I downloaded ReBirth from the rebirthmuseum online. i followed the directions but can't get it to work...anyone have any insight?

unless you can tell us exactly what you did and what's not working, no, no insight at all.

ok...i downloaded the torrent...i burned it to cd....then i unpacked the iso file using Winrar...THEN burned it again...and i tried a third way to do it but alas...i have the icons on my desktop, but i'm not able to open it

so...i burned the iso file immediately after azureus...THEN...i unpacked it...it let me install the program. but i can't run it...is this helping?

yes, this helps a lot. The thing to do is use the .iso image to burn the image to CD. Don't extract or do anything else. Once you have the .iso, burn it in it's native format. Nero and several freeware burners do this easily.

Once you have the image burned, insert the CD and your system should automatically begin the installation process. In order to run the app, I believe you'll have to leave the CD in the computer.

Honestly, it was a cool app at the time, but there are tons of even freeware tools that do the job just fine. You might be better off scouring KVR to find free vsts that get you the 303808909 sounds you're after, with far more flexibility.

i'm sure you're right about the many other options out there, but i really like ReBirth. call me sentimental...

can you get rebirth for mac? i have it on windows on my mac, but now that i have live, I don't really use windows, or want to, lol.

Anytime, happy to help.

The ISO should be an installer for both Mac and PC...if not, download the correct ISO for the Mac and burn it, then install off the CD.
