Am i going mad? reverse in Simpler?

havent used simpler that much in the past but I was sure you could reverse a sample & for the life of me I cant seem to do it. am i going crazy or is it not possible?

Wow, I was pretty sure simpler has that abilities too but I just looked and I can't find the reverse button.

well thats a real shame for drum racks, thought that would be quite an important feature of a slicer

That is weird. I know you can reverse samples in Clips though, so I guess make a clip with the sample, reverse it, and drag it to a new simpler.

If you think of live as a living instrument, and simpler as one of it organs, this is how it works!

Seriously though, its very simple. I use session to sample from radio etc, into clips. Edit the clips, reverse etc, and just drag them down to the simpler/sampler. Couldnt be easier! Though you cant drag from the simpler odly enough. But if you hold the mouse pointer over the simpler slot, you get info at the bottom where its at. Get it there from lives browser, drop it into session, reverse it, and drop it into simpler.

thats a bit of a flow killer when you are using the drum rack though & a lot more work than should be nessecary.

i cant believe its not there, Simpler is a sampler after all. have to use work arounds then i suppose

Sampler has a reverse button. So the feature is there.

Well, since its the same engine... No reason why it shouldn't be possible.
I guess for Ableton its just a matter of which features make Sampler an interesting sale.

you can save a Sampler as default for the slicer..

the defaults folders are in the library..

or,,
if you only want to reverse or FSU with only one slice in the rack,
Open the slice by expanding the rack and then use the convert simpler to sampler command,,
