can COMPUTER KEYBOARD be assigned to play on the piano roll?

is it possible to assign different notes on the piano roll each to a key on the computer keyboard????
so that i can play the instrument using the computer keyboard?

You don't have to assign the notes. Just click the Keyboard symbol next to the KEY and MIDI assign buttons in the upper right corner of Live's window.
A to L become white keys,
W E T Y U and O become black keys,
Z and X transpose octaves down and up,
and C and V set the velocity.

k all u said there was just clickin that symbol?? lol
k i did that but not workin!!!

now i can see the green little light flashin when i click any of these keys but no sounds!!!

what's happening?

man, sounds like you need to record enable/arm the track, or set the tracks monitor to in. Seriously though mate, take things slowly and read the manual and the included tutorials. Basic stuff like this is covered well and you should get a good grounding with the software and you'll quickly learn everything else naturally.
