I was having a play with the audio racks in live to get a proper feel for what it can do and realised that by setting up 3 EQ8's and a compressor on each you can make a kind of multiband compressor arrangement. Worked out quite cool, I set up on EQ8 to do just bass frequencies, another for the mids and one fr the highs. They were made to overlap a little.

I also made the compressor on the bass have a slower attack and faster release. The highs had the fastest compressor settings. I then set up a compressor over all that with a very small ratio (1:1.6 I think) to tie it all in.

On Ambient 02 I made the intro pad sound with a string pad from lives instruments. then set up an audio rack over that with three autofilters, one for bass, one for mids and one for highs. I set different LFOs and modulated them in tempo. Each auto filter has its own compressor too just to smooth it down (very low ratio obviously).
