Do we need "Next Song" function in Live 8

Post by nowtime » Mon Oct 29, 2007 7:26 pm

I remember hearing that in Live 6, you can have more than one instance of Live open. Is that a good solution for live performances? Any drawbacks?

This is such an important performance function.

can you rewire live into live when using a second instance?

because my master live application eats up my audio outs.

Yeah, my only beef with the 2 open instances is the drain on the cpu.
If I've got a bunch of reaktors open in the next song it pulls cpu even when not playing.
I can't complain though, that's what external delay boxes are for.

oh i d love to have that... it s such a pain to put all tracks in one set. especially when you use arrangenment view with lots of automation.

but if ableton made it painless to import sets in other sets i'd be happy with that too.
