New live user with new tracks

Post by eskribble » Fri Jul 13, 2007 12:31 am

I've just recently purchased live and started making music. I'd appreciate it if you'd have a listen and let me know what you think. Enjoy or be disappointed  http://www.virb.com/radioe

Very good mate, like your stuff, 'take a deep breath' is a cracker! :D

Ooo nice drums. 8) Bit of mix distortion going on according to my ears though - could be the way the file has been encoded though but it does slightly ruin the dynamics.

Good first efforts as far as I'm concerned. :)

I agree with the distortion... Very good stuff dude, better quality might be a good option. Very dreamy tune "take a deep breath".... awsome

I listened to all his tracks in the end and I liked the way they were set up and arranged, some of its not to my tastes but I can see good ideas that should be allowed to flourish. :D

Thanks everyone for taking the time to listen and for your opinions. I've basically just started making music since I bought live in February. I still have PLENTY to learn.

Dude! Your off to an awesome start. I really love "take a deep breath." Like the other guys noted, there is some distortion once the melody drops in which might need some remixing. When you use a lot of stereo panned reverb (which I thought sounded great) it is easy to start getting distortion when other things are added on top. Maybe if you center the reverb a bit when the melody comes in it will clear things up... or not... just a guess. Great work though!
