Cheap, Small, and Simple USB audio output as Pre Listen Out

Still on my quest to find a solution to our Audiophile 2496 PCI Card and Live's Pre Listen dedicated output.

Do you guys know if i can use a simple USB audio output for my headphones as a PLF monitoring along with the Audiophile 2496 card?

if so, which ones do you recommend that are Cheap, Small, and Simple.

is the M-Audio Sonica USB a good option?

In theory, no.

In practive, maybe.

Ableton say you cannot use two soundcards simultaneously. However, there are some workarounds...
