been running wife 1.0 for a few years now, the only bugs I get are "user error, remove head from ass" but the program's been running great so far. no hard drive errors, no viruses, a few memory faults but that's to be expected on an aging OS.

I think the problem for most users is incompatibility with the system

even slight incompatibilities can cause enormous problems

you really need to run in compatibility mode for a while - or run in fiancée 1.0 mode for a good while before upgrading

I've been running the crack for 7 years but I think I'd rather buy a new Macbook Pro

I read somewhere that wife 2.0 did away with the SEX button, is this true beta testers? What about sex-midi timing issues?

yeah it's absolutely true - and it's not only Wife v2.0 it's also Offspring v1.0

mind you, again I suspect it is a compatibility issue

You guys can carry on with this conversation but I ended up trading my girlfriend for an ipod Touch over on the Logic forum. It appears Logic users don't have a enough free time to try to get laid.

No, I had that problem with Wife 1.0, the SEX button stopped working after a few years. I went with the Chinese version of Wife 2.0, with the EXTRA HOT option. Highly recommended.

I dunno man, I've run into sex-midi-timing issues with fiance 1.0 and girlfriend 1.0 as well. I think I have to do a little more beta testing before buying into this again.

Now that she's gone I have 30 days to get the Single 1.0 crossgrade. It has some amazing features including placing money in your bank account, 24/7 access to all porn sites, does exactly what you want when you want, and reportedly raises your self esteem from suicidal to blissfully content. Installation can be a little tricky when removing all the proprietary girlfriend 1.0 bugs and there is a moderate learning curve but it's all worth it.

^ Don't do it! I hear there's a bundle deal where you get two girlfriend upgrades and three instruments to sweeten the deal. I don't know about you, but with names like electric and tension, my imagination needs a cold shower.

Single 1.0 is an upgrade, it comes free when you trade in girlfriend 1.0. After only a day I can tell you that the self esteem update is pretty nice, not bug free, but worth it, no trace of suicidal on the hard drive left over from GF 1.0.
Money wise, well my copy of girlfriend 1.0 was the college student version, the bank account is looking good! 8)
There usually is an almost self destructive urge to update girlfriend 1.0 to 2.0, but then GF 2.0 has the same fatal flaws as 1.0, only the packaging and software is different. Don't do it, it erases single 1.0 and the cycle starts again.

I know the exchange rate sux, but do you think it's worth getting the German or French version of Girlfriend 2.0? Is she worth 1.47x?
