I don't get it. It's a 2 track controller with a couple assignable knobs and a tempo knob? I applaud anybody making controllers cause we need more and competition is good but how is this different and/or better than a Xone or Zero 8/4?

it's lego style, g.

that video shows a two track controller, but you can plug in several different types of modules into those slots. That one doesn't use all of the available slots.

hm, that is interesting but still a little pricey just to get it to match the configuration of the controllers already out there. Cool concept though. It would be nice if the button module had more than 4 buttons. It looks like there would be room for 8.

the thing with the Mawzer is that it's design is ridiculously expensive. the size and cost of the connectors is incredible overkill. I think half the cost could be taken out, maybe someone out there will take note. IMO a few people will buy it and enjoy because the money's no big deal but it's a poor design. not to mention the overhead they're generating by just sitting on their asses not selling it and not generating revenue.

consider the cost of a collection of Mawzer parts vs. a Lemur.

+1 on the vaporware.

Correction... 3 years ago

If you dig hard enough, you'll find that is was supposed to be out in 2005.

Yes thats not an error. I said 2005!!

Even if they actually manage to release it this time. Its too expensive (Still!) And i've lost any faith I ever had about the people behind this. Don't expect customer support from a company thats been trying to get customers to PRE-ORDER these units about a year ago.

Its a rip-off and its not even a very subtle one.
