SEND CHANNELS / FX GROUP

yet another question... djing with live using between 4 and 7 tracks.. now i want to use effects at different times on any given track..... and have them readily available on my control surface...

is it possible to set up a track loaded with all the effects... then use the send on each channel (mapped to a pot) to control the amount of signal going to the effects...? that works in my mind.. hahaha. but yeah just not sure if i have the right idea.

assuming this way i should... in theory.. be able to control the volume of the effect coming through more effectively too.

Live 6 and later - look up 'racks' and the rack 'chain selector' in the manual, you can use any number of FX and FX groups you want.
