Need help installing vst :?:

Post by Librado » Sat Nov 10, 2007 2:46 am

Im on a imac os10.4 and am trying to install musolomo. i read the manual but i got stuck. First thing I did was stick the program in my Library/audio/plug-ins folder. Then in Live i opened in the preferences menu the file folder tab and changed my library path to library/audio/plugins. I see that it says i can turn my vsts on/off in my system folders option but i cant find where that is. any help would be appreciated. :?:

Your library path has nothing to do with vst/au plugins. There is a Plug-In Sources section below the library path in the same File Folder preference tab. Make sure that "Use Audio Units" and "Use VST Plug-in System Folder" are both set to On.

You shouldn't have to do this if installed properly, but there there are also 2 self explanatory options regarding a vst custom folder. That is where you would guide the program to your VSTs if you installed them anywhere other than the default folder.

I don't have this plugin but just checked it out, and on their site it says PPC, not Intel. Non UB plugins wiil not show up on your Intel 'puter.
