unable to use V6.0.10 - crashes on load...

I can't get Live version 6.0.10 to load.

I have 6.0.05 on the machine and it works fine.

I have installed and de- installed several 6.0.10 times.

When 6.0.10 loads for the first time, it cannot get past the "loading template set" it gives me the ' A serious error has... Live will shutdown when you close this message"

I have tried creating a blank template and saving it as default in 6.0.5 but same thing.

Any ideas?

Oh please...

Would I really come to the manufacturer's website to ask how to install the latest crack?

Anyone else have any ideas or having the same problem?

Never mind, I am now in communication with Ableton's tech support...

I'll post back with details if it's useful for anyone else...

FYI...

Abe tech support suggested that I move the template.als from:

C:/Documents and Settings/your user name/Application Data/Ableton/Live/Preferences

to the desktop and voila, it worked. Live 6.0.10 was finally able to open without crashing.

Clearly it had a problem with that template - was corrupted or something.

I binned the original template.als and all works fine now.
