Post by barnett71 » Mon Nov 12, 2007 10:31 pm

basically I have exported loops from my reason track at 130bpm

now when i import them into ableton they dont play in sync with eachother when they should. I have tried turning off auto warp but to no avail

Are they out of sync, tempo-wise,
or are they out of sync, Loop-wise?
(bad loop points would make two loops play in sync once, then fall out of time).

1. Make sure loop start times are really at the start of the loop, and the loop end times are something like 2 bars or 4 bars long exactly (see manual fopr "adjusting loop brace/markers"

Turning on Warp would make two loops at different tempos play in sync. Try turning Warp back on and see if that helps... Again, you'd have to have the loop markers set up properly (at the start and end).

If you set up the loop markers / sample start time properly, then hopefully the "clip tempo" should be 130 bpm (which may or may not be your "song tempo" that you assign in the upper right left transport area)
