Live 6 not opening....Crashes at start

It is saying

an internal program error has occured: live could not load resource "Pointer00.tif,Circ000.tif..." Please reintstall Live, and conta...blah blah...

Resource subdirectory 'CircleAni' not found. Please reinstall Program.)

same..reinstall..blah blah

File not found

Failed to load graphics file "CircR54.tif"

File is not a valid Tiff File

i cant reinstall live 6 cause i upgraded from 5 over the internet...

someone guide me through these troubling times...

Hello Dj Nasty Nolan,

You can always download the latest Live version from our latest versions download page, even if you bought an upgrade. Reinstalling should fix the problem, but I suggest you check your hard drive for errors as well, as it could happen that the files are unreadable because of some software or hardware failure.

ok so the skinny...

if your shit is crashing or fuckin up..

disk repair and verify and most likely reinstall....

maintenance is something i did not do enough...

i am now told that i must disk repair and verify every month or more..
consindering my live sets are over 12 gigs..

it scrambles the little bitch and makes it whine...

so thats that for now...

learnin all the time.
