* what for?
to be able to use LIVE as a "storage device" for both:
* audio signals incoming from REAKTOR to record realtime into session audio clips (obviously i'm routing the audio doing real cable bridging from out points in my soundcard to inpoints on the same card)
* midi "instructions" associated with moving controls in the REAKTOR patch i am using (which can then be played back through the IAC bus driver (MAC) or such a MidiBridge as MidiYOKE (PC)
QUESTION:
* is it true that enabling SYNC on PORT 1 will suffice to hook up the 2 apps?
or,
* do i need to enable SYNC on PORT 2 or more if i need to send signals on another IAC / MidiYOKE BUS so as to "do a beter sync job?
THE REASON BEING:
* I found that it wasn't necessary to send sync from more than one BUS. in fact, sending from 2 busses seemed to give me trouble.
SYNC MASTER: LIVE
SYNC SLAVE: REAKTOR
any thoughts?
thanks!!!
