CPU overload problem

Post by pereira.frederico » Wed Sep 05, 2007 1:13 pm

Hello, I have been searching and didnt find any solution for this problem.
I am using Live5, and just with a few instruments and tracks my cpu usage reaches 60, 70 % and sound pops and glitches.
I have turned all other programs off, turned dashboard off....it really shouldnt happen with such processor and ram and with just a drum beat playing.

What can it be?

Thanks for the atention!
cheers!

Hi,

You've got to upgrade to the Universal Binary version of Live, which is at least 5.2.2, via the 'check for updates' entry in the Help menu of the software.

Hello,

I have also some CPU Overload problem. I'm working with Live 6 on a Macbook C2Duo, sometimes when I'm tweaking pots on a plug-in the CPU overload at 135 % or more without any reason and for few seconds, with of course audio drop-outs.
It can happens at any time, even with lights projects.

Several persons have same problems.
