Sorry if this has been brought up before - I tried searching some already, but didn't find much.
If I enable multicore support within Live 6 on my PC laptop (which is dual core, running Vista) I get tons of crackling and huge CPU spikes - ridiculously bad performance which I know isn't normal. But when it's off, the performance is great. Anyone know why this might be? Just curious...
Also, does Live 7 have the option to turn multicore support on or off? Thanks.
