Ableton T's for fat Americans!!!

Post by smutek » Wed Jun 02, 2004 4:16 am

Size, S, L, Xl, "100% Cotton, tight fit."

I am 6 foot four inches tall and weigh 230 pounds.

Why no love for us fat americans ableton?

Midi??? Bah keep it

New features, I'm happy with what I've got. (although altivec optimization would be nice)

All I'd like is to be able to rock a limited addition Ableton T that fits.

And don't tell me to lose weight!!

:P

seriously...those ableton bastards design the most addictive audio software in the world, causing me to sit in front of my laptop at least eight hours a day just growin' ass, and then expect me to be able to fit into one of theose little girly tees?

i call shenanagins.

Hows 5'10 and 245 lbs...and no sign of shrinking...maybe I'm just dumb or something but this stuff is complicated..it takes from my writing time. Need a quick start guide tutorial for Novation Speedio USB to winXP plug in and make some MIDI guitar files with the Brian Moore Midi iGuitar. I can learn all the other stuff later..
Ordered a Brain Moore Midi electric iGuitar, (should recieve next month. The $249 software package that came with Novation hardware It would be nice if I could test the Midi guitar out right away, or know step by step whay I need to do.

Have a viciously fast, two handed wank, twice a day. Best way to burn off those calories for sure.

I guess that's what we have to resort to now that our girlfriends and wives have left us, since we spend so much time with LIVE.
MacBook Pro (MacOS 13.0.1) i9 Processor, 32gb RAM, 4tb SSD
(STUDIO I/O) MOTU UltraLite mk5 (w/ADA8200), (LIVE I/O) Behringer X Air XR18
Ableton Live Suite 11 (Live performances), Studio One 5 (Studio Stem Creation)

If you don't get blisters on the inside of both forearms you're not doing it right!

Fat people not the right image for Ableton?

Post by pyxl8r » Wed Jul 28, 2004 7:48 pm

I suspect we fat "yanks" (and I'm 5'10"/230, & all around the middle!) don't fit the young skinnier euro-hipster image that Ableton caters too, so why should their t-shirts fit us either?

Their marketing staff seems to prefer to forget the fact that a large (no pun intended) segment of their users are actually middle-aged overweight American guys who <gasp> use Live for making music other than dance tracks <gasp x2> !

I actually bought one of their first limited-edition shirts when they came out, but it only fit my 8-year-old daughter!

Hey, let's petition for a REAL XL-size tee-shirt...

I'm not fat, and I'm a not a yankee cause I'm from the south, but at 6'-3" and 200 lbs, even an XXL large ableton live t-shirt is the smallest, most tight fitting shirt I own. They should definitely make a version for us bigger folk that don't want shirts so tight they would divulge "outie" belly buttons. Live 4 showed the capacity for fitting much more into a product--carry that shizz over to the shirts...

You could try sewing an elastic strip down the middle of the back of the shirt, to add a little "give".

Or try to persuede Ableton to stock a lycra version. Maybe they could build a one piece super-stretch lycra Ableton catsuit :P .... 8O

Maybe not, I can visulise it too clearly, in fact I cant get the image out of my head!
