who has to buy 7 now?

Post by beats me » Mon Nov 19, 2007 4:50 pm

Just like the genius that puts too many instances of demo software with expiration dates in their sets, who has to buy Live 7 now because you've already created too many wonderful sets in it?

I wonder if the Abes are going to be cool enough to have the last beta expire either at the release or shortly after. It's going to suck if we have to wait weeks between the last expiration and the actual release. 8O

Yeah, there are some really nice features that I was missing instantly when I went back from L7 to L6 for compatibility reasons... Probably mostly multiple automation lanes. L7 beta is just feeding my addiction

I can't really make without external effects device. I run loops everytime to external compressors and fx and resample them in another track, and switch routings on the fly... great

I have a cool 20% off one item coupon for my local Guitar Center, but it's only good this Saturday morning.

So I'll have to wait for the official release, I guess. I'm glad I can upgrade rather than pony out the juke for a new copy.

Reason 4 is looking interesting. I didn't upgrade since 2.5, but maybe there's enough new features and improvements to make it worth the USD129

I've got that coupon too, it's too bad that I can't think of a damn thing at guitar center I would want. If I could use it on used items at gc I'd be happier but it says on there "not for vintage/used items"
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

based on past releases, the abes won't let time lapse from the last beta to the release. Even if L7B112.6 has a bug "fix" called "Changed Splash pixel from black to dark black" it'll extend it past whatever Friday on which they will launch Live.
