hey guys, i tried the tech support with both companies, and got nowhere yet; maybe some of you had this same problem. if i run proteus x as a standalone, it sounds great. if i run it as a vst instrument inside ableton, some of the patches have an intermittent buffer underrun noise (like when your latency is set too low for the cpu to handle) when i release the key. some patches do it, others don't. but only when running through live. none of live's instruments do this, only proteus. i really want to use proteus in ableton since i spent all taht money on vintage pro modules (sound great!)
thanks,
eric

i'm hesitant to think that drivers are the issue, because everything in ableton seems to work, except the emu product. i find it hard to believe that emu drivers would only break an emu product. i have a friend who had a similar problem when having master and slave in different audio bitrates (16 v 24), but i don't think that is the case for me, but i do't know how to find out.
