It is absolutely ridiculous this hasn't been addressed by now.

I know ableton is focused on making live the ultimate audio performance tool, but guess what...some of us want to use it as our midi sequencing tool and all around DAW as well. If ableton wants to compete in this market, it better start providing standard features that every other DAW had YEARS ago and most of us NEED in order to maintain workflow in Live. If I cant automate or map a vst's parameters past the 128 mark, guess what...I'm going to do it in some OTHER DAW that DOES.

Get on board and stop adding features that nobody friggin needs...like AAS plugins built in. If we wanted AAS plugs we would buy them ourselves.

any news about this argument on the final release of live7 released today?

I'm considering about an upgrade from my live 6 lite, but i can't see live as my production daw without being able to automate albino ADSR envelope..
