Live7 Beat Slicing

I wasn't going to upgrade from Live 6, since I thought it was perfect already, but the new beat slicing feature sold me (sigh, again....)

Question: is there an easy way to morph an audio clip into a one that is "doubled" - i.e., twice the length (repeats twice).... (I could cut and paste the audio of course, I'm just looking to see if Live 7 is, indeed perfect, or whether I will have to wait for Live x....

I've dreamt of this feature myself but, and I remember some discussion but I don't even remember if it ever made it to the wishlist.

all you have to do is freeze the track and it will be doubled right?

I asked about a clip, not a track (in session view)

yeah i know, freezing a clip in session view will double the sample inside perfectly ie 4bar loop to 8, 8bar loop to 16.....whatever........
