Im using the Akai MPD24 which has three MIDI inputs and two MIDI out.
However in Live 6 or 7 you can only choose 1 input, so my keyboard which is plugged in the MPD24 doesn't work. I have to use a MIDI Patchbay (
http://pete.yandell.com/software/) to be able to select my keyboard!?
In a program like Reason, this is no problem. Why isn't that possible in Live?

Hi Gnuus,
the MPD24 shows 3 input ports for me both in Live 6 and 7.
What struck me as odd is the name of the port in your
screenshot. The brackets should not be empty but contain
'Port 1', 'Port 2', or 'Port 3'. You could try updating the
drivers and the MPD's operating system.
cheers,
Jan

Yes, the empty brackets are odd, maybe it's more a Mac related problem?
It's still strange that Reason doesn't have a problem with it.
This is what the Akai Pro Technical Support answered me:
'The MPD24 is currently not compatible under the new OSX Leopard. Stay tuned to our website for the latest updates on this.'
