Live 7 spurious "Missing Samples"

Post by arkoenig » Fri Nov 30, 2007 5:27 pm

I inadvertently installed the MIDI drum grooves without the corresponding sample library. Live 7 rightly reported missing samples. However, it continued to do so even after I uninstalled the drum grooves and rebuilt the library.

When I asked it what samples were missing, it didn't report any.

I finally reinstalled Live 7 (without reinstalling anything else) and the problem went away.

Just thought you'd like to know.

I also had a case of "missing samples" when none were displayed as missing...

Hi,

where exactly did Live report the missing Samples after you uninstalled the MIDI Grooves? In the file manager or the bottom screen status bar?

In a black-and-orange bar at the bottom of the screen.
