(Bug?) Start to play at the end of the region loop

Post by G. » Thu Nov 29, 2007 6:06 pm

hi live users and ableton team.

i face a really stange behavior when starting to play from the end of the region loop in the arranger view :

live automatically go back to the start of the region loop but sound stops after 1 second and then, my master vuemeter indicates a continuous composant.

can anyone confirm this? or maybe it's related to one of my vst plugins?

any idea?

g.

I think I get this too.

I have a huge problem I'm not sure how to fix, and it may be what you describe (but I'm a total beginner and have no idea about anything, so forgive me if I'm wrong).

When I record whatever (drum beats using Impulse in this case), and then let it play on, it'll automatically loop itself, which is good, BUT there are "gaps" in between each loop of the recorded track. Like, you can see a break (a line) in the tracks and hear about 1 second of nothing before it starts to play again. I DON'T WANT THIS! It wrecks the rhythm, you know?

I have 2 ideas of how to fix it which I'm asking in my own thread, so hopefully someone replies!

for me it seems to come from a bad sync of one of my vst plugins...
