Exporting drum racks

Post by dextroc » Sat Dec 01, 2007 7:54 pm

Well, this is not really a bug, I suppose, but this should be something to fix. I'd like the option to export every single sound of a drum rack seperatly, but as it seemed, only exporting as a whole is possible. I'm preparing a surround sound image, and since live doesn't support surround I'll be needing to do this a lot and reouting midi to loads of impulses is the only way around it. I was actually surprised that it wasn't possible, since drum racks are sort of like grouped tracks.

Having the surround feature would certainly make ableton live the only DAW I'll ever need, but until then I'm afraid mixing things down in other programs will have to do.

Oh, and I found a bug, I think while routing one midi track to 8 impulses (setting the impulses to receive midi from the one midi track, that is). Every time I open the project again only one impulse remains set that way, while all others are reset to receive nothing.
Yup...
