I am definitely in favor of anything that makes encapsulation and modularization more accessible.

We at least need support for sending midi from vst effects to other instruments and effects.

I'm using XT as a plugin now to make modular instruments with funky homemade LFO's, envelop followers etc, but doing it native and across tracks would rock.

Yeah. And there is a bug with ableton and midi yoke : when swithching from a set to another, live doesn't close the midi yoke device. So, sometimes, the midi yoke in bidule vst is missing.

This would be quite handy. It would make things complicated and would take ages to code but would be beneficial.

Anything that would rid us of the need to use other apps (midi yoke etc) for stuff like this I'm all for.
