Hello,
I've just installed the Drum Machine Packages, but I can't install the
808 Drum Package.
The information - sign tells me that only a part of the Drum Package could be installed.
When trying to open a 808 Drum Rack preset in my set, Live tells me that samples are missing. Searching for these samples failes.
Is the 808 Package buggy?
Thanks for helping me!
Cheers!

Hi Daniel!
When installing Live, I chose a File Folder for the Preferences. There is a subfolder called "waveforms" in which all the other Drum Packs were installed.
It worked out with all the other Drum Packs, but I can't install the
808 Drum Pack. Maybe because it's the biggest.
But I've enough discspace on my notebook - so this can't be the problem.
I installed the Drum Pack by double - clicking on the 808 Drum Pack, which is situated in a folder on my Desktop. It installs the Pack but tells me in the end, that just a part of the pack could be installed.
Cheers, Julian

Hi Julian,
if only part of the pack were installed then there is a problem with either the 808 Live Pack itself or possibly the Library.
It is hard to diagnose, but try this:
Create a new empty folder, set your Live Library to this empty folder and try installing the 808 into it.
This way, you can determine if the problem is your existing Library or the 808 pack.

Hi Daniel,
unfortunately it didn't work out. In the new library were the same files as before.
I found out that the missing ones are:
Drum Machine 808-Kick-808.aif
Drum Machine 808-Cymbal-808.aif
It seems like the Pack is broken. When installing the pack, I can recognize that the installation gets kind of stuck with these files, but continues after a few seconds.
Is it possible that it's a kind of download error?
