USING LIVE FOR LIVE PERFORMANCES

HI ALL,

WANTING TO GET SOME INFO ON USING ABLETON LIVE FOR LIVE PERFORMANCES.. ANYONE KNOW OF ANY GOOD TUTORIALS ONLINE OR ON VIDEO/BOOKS??

I DO GET THE JIST OF IT, BUT SOME HINTS FROM PRO'S WOULD SAVE ME TIME - WHICH I DONT HAVE A LOT OF!!

EVEN IF SOMEONE OUT THERE IS USING LIVE FOR LIVE PERFORMANCES AND WANTS TO DROP ME SOME HINTS/TRIX, I WOULD BE MOST GRATEFUL..

not me, but some people on the web take this as you shouting at em and get annoyed. maybe you already know this and were shouting, but it ain't considered friendly in general.

Also, from a typographic point of view, if you wanna provide the reader with an easily read text you shouldn't be using only capital letters.

does anyone load the loops all at once and use the mute on / off to control the tracks??

i've been playing with Live since V.2.0 but just recently to use my own loops in a live setting. i dj twice a week and wanted to start dropping my own loops and songs in and out of my mixes. so, i thought i'd drop the loops on the tracks in ablelton and loop them all. just using the mute on / off to control what is played when.

i've been doing it at home a little and it flows well. i know there a lot of different approaches to using Live in a live setting..just wondering your thoughts on this way and what you use for your live performances.
