looks very cool.. it'll all be down to how good the editing software is and whether it can respond to midi events etc..

not cheap though..

...after seeing the price (almost $500 US) I thought I might as well buy a touch screen that would be infinitely more configurable/flexible, etc.

Hmmmm. I was just playing with it at the Wired Store in SoHo here in NY. It was $1540.

Not sure why there is such conflicting info on price. I can't find anywhere that shows $500 US. Sounds a hell of a lot better to me, though.
