Drag and Drop Midi Files

Drag and Drop midi files works fine when working in Live but when it come to dragging a midi file from another app into Live its no go. I was hoping I would be able to drag and drop midifile from Phatmatik Pro in to a Live session slot

Could this be implemented in a future update or is it a big thing to do.

What you're asking it's not possible in this version yet.
Did you tried thru rewire mode to import midi files?

Did you tried thru audio/midi controller or synth?

I tired using the Phatmatil Pro Vsti. It generates a midi file that plays back slices of a sample. I was wanting to drag the midi file from Phatmatik in to an empty session slot. The drag drop thing works fine in cubase and fl studio but not Live. Its not a major problem as you can save the midifile then import it normally but drag and drop is a lot more convenient.
