we shouldn't respond to his.
and it's ok, because we know he'll be using live in a little while.

My initial thought too, Smu.smutek wrote:My first thought when I read this thread was Charles Tyrer. Not sure if that's Mike D's writing style and niether he nor come1 are clever enough to come up with a name like squigglefunk.Amberience wrote:Do you go by the alais "Come1" on Reasonstation?? How about "Pizziano"?? "Mike-D"???
I only ask because you've got the same moronic attitude as they have. You're probably an insecure old hack who has had no success in life.
Also Tyrer claims to be a classicly trained penis. I mean pianist.
He probably saw the live four thread at RS, he's been lurking around there using Lukes id, and slunk over here.
That's my theory.

first off. music is art and theres no one right way to make either. artists use tools in diiferent ways to create different things. so a word of advice to Squigglefunk UK. You need to get an "indy" job and make "indy" music on whatever DAW you feel necessarry. Mabey if you didnt spend so much time posting things on this site, you wouldnt be so fueled to try and prove a worthless point. Squigglefunk UK, its obvious the only "people" you talk to are online. otherwise you wouldnt type such useless banter.

Dear Squiggledick, that was the same moronic attitude that got shot down back in the 70's when you self-proclaimed maestros argued that electric guitarists, etc. were not real musicians because they used amplifiers and distortion in their music. I happen to play instruments also and use loops etc., in my compositions. Software like Live and Cubase and others afford us the freedom to compose without having to rely on ignorants like you to make music.Squigglefunk UK wrote:I happen to be classically trained at strings and keys, one must actually "play" the recorded instrument,You morons really give me a chuckle.

tradition is like an ex-girlfriend who you still like.
it's not a competition you know.
I can play traditional instrumets, and that's cool n' all, but using software as an instrument is something else, dare I say it.. something new. thats why I love live so much, it's an instrument, not just a tool.
tradition is a great way to hold on to the past, and technology is a great way to look into the future.
here's to loud noises.
