Phton x25 crashing Live. Solved:Demo Live 7 caused the crash

If I load Ableton Live 6.0.10 with my Alesis photon x25 it crashes.

The crash happens at the splash screen, so before the full program loads.

I have loaded the latest firmware for the Photon, and I'm running Vista Business. Can anyone think what might be the problem?

The photon has worked fine up until a recent reinstall of windows I did, and even then it worked for a few days.

I should add that all these crashes happened after I installed live 7, I'm going to uninstall it now that I think about it and give it a go.

Ahuh bingo!!!! Yup Live 7 was causing a problem that meant Live 6 wouldn't load my Midi controller
