Same problem here m8. I guess Live assign the loop tempo to the project, usually when it's the first loop choosen, but sometimes it's absolutely random. Hope they'll fix that in next update.

I've experienced that in preview mode, but it seems to go away if you drag the clip into sesson and disable Warp.

just thinking about this statement, and finding a couple of other posts on the subject.... this seems counterintuitive to the point of Live unless i'm missing something.... isn't the point to be able to preview audio in the context of what you're working on - NOT the other way around?

Hadn't thought of it that way, but I don't use Live for DJing. All my stuff is set ahead of time. True, though.

I guess I'm confused about exactly what you're doing then. I'll just be quiet and wait for someone else to try an answer.

Not sure I understand completely but
Tempo setting by 1st loop dragged in, that's a new feature in Live 7

I found a solution
1. Open Logic 8
2. Open Reason (if you have one)
3. and then Open Live 7
Somehow It works....
dang.....;; you know i tried many things......
