Pre Mix down - Party tunes from an old DJ in his 30's!!

Hi,

I have just uploaded some tracks I have finished in ableton, they are pre mix down and mastering and could doo with a few more finishig tpuches in terms of the production. I have to say I really like them as I have tried to over lap the genres, my aim is to have fun with making music and even more importantly make my music fun, dancable and timeless. Not much to ask I know.

Your feedback good and bad would be appreciated.

Hey - these sound really well produced on my headphones.
Only comment i have is i don't like how they keep jumping into "different " tunes... i see what your trying to do though... just my preference. Could def see (well i mean hear) these on a dancefloor.

Thanks for that, i really do appreciate it. i have just come to the same conclusion ish, and am due to restructure the tunes tomorrow prior to mix down.

Both arranged better now, have a big mix down session next week so should have 4-5 tunes ready, but in the meantime have a look at these..

on the whole, i also thought these pieces quite nice n tight. i felt that the ideas needed to revolve around at theme though - they seemed too eclectic. i really liked the 500 years song but wanted the tune to kinda follow through on that theme. somehow.
