Live 7 Crashes Core Audio ALL THE TIME!!!

When I installed v7 I could get reasonable amount of playback before the core audio would crash (meters go full on both sound card and main out of live) and program would have to be restarted. Email Ableton they told me to delete preferences.cfg and undo.cfg and the now the second I hit play it crashes and I cant open any of my projects. Emailed ableton support back twice and no reply... they're obviously not interested.

Anybody else had this problem and managed to get around it?

Some upgrade eh? Waste of money...

If you gave more info on your computer and soundcard it would help, no one is going to help you out if you just bitch and don't give any real information needed to troubleshoot the problem.

sorry mate... didn't mean to come across like that. am using Live 7.0.1 on a powerbook g4 12"/1.5ghz/1.25gb running osx 10.4.11 through a motu 828mk2 all with up to date drivers etc.

anyone have any ideas? still not heard back from ableton support...

Make sure that it is not a plug-in that crashing Live... disabel all plug-ins and try again...

I shall give that a go and let you know how I get on... Think it might be some out of date Waves plugins that I use although they've never been a problem before...

Thank you for responding... Still no word from Ableton support...(?)
