I put in carpe noctum by tiesto and when I use the slicer Live isn't able to separate the drums from all the other instruments, it just chops it up. But all the instruments are still stuck together. This bug is the same for all the music I tried to remix. what is the point in that? I could do that myself.
If you are wanting to do what i think..Trying to EQ sounds away so your just left with a certain sound you should use the latest Wavelab..Im sure that has such a function..Or just EQ stuff away yourself..
The slicer is just for cutting up audio parts so you can rearange them. Not for getting rid of unwanted frequencies

Actually I HAVE READ THE MANUAL.

At version 7.0 we deserve a proper slicer.

Some of us can make trance music, the other people who can't can only criticize those who can.
You need to disable the 'Tiesto' filter. It is enabled by default.
