I am running Live 6.0(still) on a new Macbook Pro. My audio interface is a MOTU traveller running through a QSC 1804 Amp. Utilizing it in the Mac environment such as Itunes and running through the MOTU and through the amp out to monitors is no issue. However, when I am in Live, and set my Audio output to the MOTU traveller, and assign it to output pair 1 and 2 respectively, I get no sound. I feel like Ive checked everything to ensure that my outputs are correct in the preferences tab, and I cant find a problem. If I set my audio interface to the built in speakers on the Mac, I can hear the audio tracks in Live just fine, but as soon as I try to pipe it out of the MOTU, I cant hear anything. I never had this problem before when we play out in a live environment and I send from Live to the MOTU and then out to a PA or a board. The QSC amp is a new feature in my cabinet, and seems to be the problem, although I cant seem to figure it out. Any thoughts???
Thanks
Jim

Try activating all the outs in the pref's, and then use the audio test tone right below those to try and see which output it is on the MOTU. As was mentioned above me, the output number on th MOTU is not a direct match between the physical outs, and the software outs.

Still happening
I tried all of the options you are suggesting. The Traveller only has 8 analog inputs and outputs. In Live, when I choose the traveller as my output device, it lists 28 outputs. Im wondering if I have the wrong driver. I just switched over to the MAC and had to update the driver when I did that. I have not tried using the traveller in a live environment until now, so I think there might be a problem with my audio driver. Otherwise, I cant figure it out. I talked to MOTU, and they said to try listening through the headphone jack, which would alleviate any issues with master outputs being assigned to the wrong outputs. There is nothing through the headphones except for a high pitched shrill, similar to what I get out of the speakers. Also, the test tones do nothing either, so that didnt help.
Any more thoughts????
