M-Audio Keyboard Issues With Ableton Live

Sorry, this may be a repost, but I'm having trouble using the assignable rotary encoder knobs on my Axiom 25 in Live. Whenever I assign these, I can't get it so that the knobs will move the controls in live smoothly. When I first turn the knob, it jumps and then gets stuck at around the halfway point. Can anyone Help?

Search for "takeover mode" in the manual (chapter 23.1.3) - that might solve your issue.
